Drywall, Plaster & Paint Specialist

• Performs drywall installation, taping, finishing, skim coating, plastering, and painting for commercial and residential construction projects.
• Interprets construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate execution of finishing work.
• Installs drywall systems for walls, ceilings, soffits, bulkheads, and specialty architectural features.
• Performs taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to achieve the required level of drywall finish.
• Applies plaster, skim coats, and surface preparation techniques to create smooth and uniform finishes.
• Prepares surfaces for painting through patching, sanding, priming, and repair work.
• Applies paint, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintains high standards of workmanship and attention to detail to ensure superior finished results.
• Identifies and corrects surface imperfections, damage, and finishing deficiencies.
• Coordinates with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades to ensure project schedules and milestones are achieved.
• Assists with material planning, quantity verification, and proper use of finishing products.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout all phases of construction.
• Ensures completed work meets project quality standards, client expectations, and company requirements.
• Provides solutions to field conditions and finishing challenges to maintain project progress and quality.
• Serves as the lead finishing specialist responsible for delivering professional drywall, plaster, and paint finishes that contribute to the overall appearance and success of each project.
